| Post subject: | Minnesota's gets things right on! |
We had dinner for the first time this season at Minnesota's on Friday night - and everything was better than ever! The menu is nicely improved with a wider variety of some really great stuff! The filet I had was perfect. Better than the filet at Coastal Grill or Nick's, and better than the filet at the high-priced steak house we went to the week before out in Suffolk. The ribs were amazing, as always. The fish tacos were better than ever! The drink choices were much improved. The staff is great, as always; and the new manager, Jay, was a super-nice guy - particularly accommodating. When we mentioned that Milagro was one of our favorite tequilas, he came back a short while later with a bottle of Milagro from the liquor store up the street. Nice. And the prices here are probably the most reasonable for great food in Long Beach. They've also added a Sushi night on Tuesday nights. There is also going to be a weekly movie night. Minnesota's has been reliably good for the past two summers, but it looks like this summer they've stepped it up another notch. All that, and the nicest outdoor dining in all of Long Beach. mrk |
