I hear the restaurant portion of The Saloon is closed for kitchen expansion. Maybe that will mean a larger selction of menu items.

Agreed - the Saloon is one of the best kept secrets. I particularly like their Salmon. It would be nice, however, if they diversified their menu a bit more - particularly in the summer with the new outdoor patio drawing a much larger crowd now. mrk |

Oh, hey - I was not aware of that. Sounds promising. I guess that was why they took over the adjacent building space. That's great - I hope they expand their menu and restaurant focus. The food is underrated, but they clearly could not handle the jump in dining patronage during the summer months and the West End still lacks enough reliable places to eat. Thanks for the info! Mike |
