Hi there,

Is it me or has anybody else noticed that the wonderful boardwalk of long beach is in pretty bad shape this year? i go out for bike rides pretty often on the boardwalk and i can feel lots of lose boards and the overall shape of the boards doesn't look very good...except for that strip they re-did last year.

The city has always been so conscious of taking such good care of the city, and i am suprised that they would neglect this.

Does anyone know of any plans to fix or redo the boardwalk?

It makes me sad to see/think they are not maintaining it the way they should be. it's one of the many beautiful parts of long beach.

Sorry but I have not heard of any plans to improve the condition of the boardwalk . Well not for nothing I do remeber it back in the early 80s and that time frame and it being much worse than . Hope it doesn't get that way again .
