What would a first time visitor to Long Beach do for fun? I am not a "touristy" type person, but I like to go out and party and have a good time. I also like spending time outdoors, regardless of the season. Burying my toes in the sand is a favorite pasttime. Any suggestions? |

Long beach isn't a very touristy town, as our only tourist draw is the beach and boardwalk. But if you like to have fun, then its a great, laid back, party city. I would suggest spending some time on beech street during the weekend. Do a little sunbathing on the beech, try a few of the outdoor restaurants, check out the boutiques, and then eat dinner there and stick around. As night falls the whole street turns into a big party which moves from bar to bar up and down it A walk down park ave isnt bad either, great window shopping |
