Hey there -

Domenica's is at the corner of Beech and New York Ave - across from Vito's - it's in the location that was previously Chesapeake.

It's family-style Italian and Brick Oven Pizza.

We've now eaten here twice, and taken out once.

Yes, some of the staff is a little inexperienced, but the food has been really good - and really consistent - it was definitely above our expectations.

The portions are *very* large - although some items are available in half-portions.

All-things-considered, pricing is very reasonable and this is probably one of the best places I've eaten in Long Beach in recent memory. It's really nice to see consistency in the quality of food - we've tried a bunch of different things on several occassions, and everything has been really good to outstanding.

I think their staff will get up-to-speed as they gain some experience. The owner is an experienced restaurant owner and one of the bar-tenders made us some of the very best mojitos we've had - but, no, the mojito's didn't bias our opinion of the food ;)

And yes - keep your opinions on restaurants flowing - even if it's just a word or two.

Thanks :)

Michael
