In the canals, our tiny little street was reversed because of bridge reconstruction problems. Now we have a very big problem with lots of traffic on our tiny little street.
Not only lots of traffic but fast moving vehicles.
It is a very unsafe situation. You would think we could walk on the sidewalks to stay out of harm's way but the sidewalks are not wide enough for baby strollers or wheelchairs.
Those of us who live here are at our wits' end. And did I mention that we have lots of kids here who often play in the street because the yards here are too tiny?

If you thing Vinton has heavy traffic, try Barnes Street. At least 4 cars each night park on the wrong side of the street all night long. Are there cops in this town????
The biggest perpetrator of fast driving are the fire chiefs and volunteers who drive 40 MPH in a 15 zone when the street is packed with kids.

I was thinking of looking into speed bumps- like they have on Farrell. But my street still needs to be repaved.
Would speed bumps throughout the canals be inappropriate for some reason?
