Everyone should check out The Cabana - 1034 West Beech St. (corner of Georgia Ave) Great food, great drinks. A guaranteed good time. :D

Thanks for the review Alison - looks like they've done a nice job on the place and looks like they stay open later than their neighbor.

How's the food menu?

I'll probably check it out this weekend ....

Actually, it has nothing to do with Baja. Other than having rented the space that Baja used to rent, and having hired many ex-Baja employees. I'm told that the owner of Cabana is actually an ex-Baja employee or manager as well. So, in fact, this is basically head-on competition with Baja in their own backyard (literally)

Thank you for the heads up on the Cabana . I will give it a shot and see what it is all about , although I am not a huge tex mex fan I will try not to be partial.

well lbmarine, don't worry about not liking tex mex...there is pasta on the menu too -- sort of confusing.

we have only been there once, i wasn't overly impressed but would probably give it another try somewhere down the road.

be careful if you are enjoying food and cocktails though....it can end up being quite pricey.
