If you haven't tried the new Beech Street Deli in the West End, you are missing out. Everything is really outstanding. They've got great hot foods each day - the owners and staff are good people. It's a can't miss situation. This is perhaps the best food in Long Beach - not just the best *new* deli, but the best deli in Long Beach. mrk |

It's worth noting that things quickly went downhill here at the end of the season until they ultimately closed for the winter. Not sure if they're coming back, but not nearly as interested. Too bad - they actually had gotten things right when one of the two partners was steering the ship. Looking forward to the renovation of Alabama Deli - maybe they will get things right for the long-haul. mrk |
