Here is a simple poll that I thought may be intresting to see the response. Take a moment to vote. It is based on food or service

1. Would you rather go to a restaurant with great food but so-so service and not pleasnt people OR-

2. Go to a restaurant with great service and a great staff but with just ok food?

Oooooh - this is a really tricky one. I think it depends on what I'm more hungry for - food, or people.

But, if it's not too wide of a gap, I'm likely the guy who's going to go to the friendly place with the nicer people who actually care about the customer, and compromise on the food.

I guess mediocre food is tolerable, whereas unpleasant people are not so tolerable :)

I'd rather hold out for a restaurant that has both!
Oh my...now that I am in this restaurant business....this is weird question for me to answer. The goal from our side of things is to offer both, of course.

Although I am a bit of a "Foody" I think I would have to go for the service aspect of a place to eat. The food can be top notch but if the people are awful and the service is poor I am not going to enjoy my meal.

It's kinda like going on a first date. The person across the table can be really easy on the eyes - yet if they are just no fun, it's not so interesting.

As MsPiggy and our waitress, Jen, will attest to after having met both of us Saturday night, Stace and I are in it for the fun :)
