I was curious about why so little effort is expended in voting the incumbent district attorney out of office. The last democratic opponent, Ferzola, did not campaign. Garnering 40% of the vote with your name being erased soviet-style from public view is pretty good. Imagine what would have happened had someone actually campaigned and his/her name was not vaporized. I didn't see Ferzola trying to overcome this soviet media detention. And what's with Suozzi -- trying to elect someone from the DA's office, but not to the DA's office? Terrible things have gone on with this district attorney, and I can't imagine why Suozzi would have touched Levinson with a 10-foot pole. The Democratic Party has much to answer for on this point, as does Newsday, a paper that knows very well what has gone on. Covering up for the district attorney could not have been blamed on "rogue" activity.
