Teams will play 3 to 6 games each night leading up to the Long Island Championships September 3 in Long Beach and the AVP America League Nationals September 17 in Atlantic City, NJ.
The leagues are structured to offer players a relaxing night at the beach competing against teams of equal level in a fun atmosphere. Players are aged from high school to senior citizens in their mid 60’s. EEVB has developed an inclusive program that is accessible to players of multiple skill levels.
The way to have the most fun is to form a team with your friends. Players who do not have a team can get on teams by posting a message on the Facebook EEVB Player Forum. The N. Hempstead, Centereach, and Hampton Bays leagues offer a single player option where players can be placed on a team.
The leagues are sponsored by Lucia Pionegro @ EXIT REALTY, Meadowbrook Financial Mortgage Bankers Corp., Orlin & Cohen Sports Medicine, 4C Iced tea – Drink Mix – Energy Stix, Park & Sun Net Systems, AC Sports Commission, ROX Volleyball, Sand Socks, AVP America, Media Barrel, SportsYou, New Zealand Trails, Wilson Volleyballs.
